Who Am I?


Hello there!

My name is Jim Lewis and I live in the northern suburbs of Canberra, the capital city of Australia. Canberra is a relatively small city, as cities go, and has an air of relaxation and being laid back. The morning and afternoon rush hours last about 30 minutes, and the traffic is pretty tame most of the time. The winters are very cold by Australian standards and the summers hot and dry. It has four definite seasons which we really love. It is about 1800 feet above sea level.

I was born and raised on an orchard south of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia. My parents sent me to private schools, including St Munchins Primary (yeah – funny name I know), St Norbett’s College and Trinity College.

Perth is a very nice city, with excellent beaches nearby and lots of warm weather. The nearest capital city is Adelaide, South Australia, which is about 2-3 day’s drive away. We used to holiday each year on Rottnest Island, about 12 miles off the coast of Fremantle.
